For over a century, the American Lung Association has been fighting lung disease through research, education, and public advocacy. Today, lung disease is the third leading cause of death in the U.S. Furthermore, the death rate from lung disease is growing faster than any other major disease.
Your tax deductible donation will fund research to find effective cures and treatments for lung disease. In addition, it will allow us to continue providing: smoking cessation programs, professional counseling, referral services, and support groups for those suffering from lung disease. The American Lung Association also offers school-based tobacco prevention educational programs and summer camp for children with asthma.
